Ewha Womans University is a private women's university located in Daehyeon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. It is the first girls' school in Korea. Its predecessor is Ewha Hakdang, the 5th oldest higher education institution in Korea. It is the 4th largest university in Seoul. It's beautiful and elegant because it's been kept clean throughout its long history. The buildings are also old-fashioned, so it feels like you're walking through a college that's like a fantasy novel. It won the Seoul Metropolitan Government Construction Grand Prize in 2008 for its wonderful appearance and eco-friendly elements such as sunlight and mining.
