One option for decorating the surface of a railway model—"greening"—is the topic of today's video: flocking. Thanks to its unusual texture, flock, which appeared in the late 1990s, quickly gained popularity among modelers and replaced painted sawdust. However, despite all its advantages, using flock also comes with a number of associated problems, which we will explore. In this episode, Leonid Moskalov takes a detailed look at the design of a special device—a flocker—and shares his own practical experience using it. As with any project, there are a number of challenges, which we will address together with our unexpected co-host, Konstantin.
