BOSS BR800 | Recording The Greatest Pop Song of All Time / The Pixies

Here I talk about recording the Pixies song: "Here Comes Your Man" on my Boss BR 800 Multitrack Recorder. Note: Although the song was recorded on the br800 I also added the vocal and acoustic guitar take from the live performance into the video mix. Doing this energized the track, the vocal and acoustic audio had been captured on my Zoom q8 camcorder stereo condenser mics while performing. I may do this more often as it widens up the sound. This technique may be a long established secret among producers.. and it may have a specific name. Either way..I'm trusting my ears as I think it improves the overall sound of the final mix.
