Qui-Gon Hilt Battery Replacement

In this video I replace the rechargeable battery in a Qui-Gon Jinn legacy lightsaber hilt from Galaxy's Edge. Several of these legacy hilts have rechargeable batteries and for some owners the battery is no longer taking a charge. Replacing a battery in these hilts is possible, but some are tougher than others. To see my previous teardown and reassembly video of this hilt click on this link:    • How To Access The Battery In A Qui-Gon Leg...   The battery itself is a pouch-style lithium-ion battery with the dimensions 7.8mm thick by 25mm wide by 40mm long (782540) with a capacity of 650mAh. The connector is a 2mm pitch JST-PH style connector. That is a common connector style among batteries of this type. A replacement battery should be the same size or smaller (752540, 702540, 652540 are all good, available sizes to choose from) and should have roughly the same capacity (500-1000mAh). The specific battery I used in this video I purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097BKYJV5 That is not an affiliated link. It is not a recommended link. It's simply what I chose for convenience and time. There are many other battery options out there, many of which will be better options. 0:00 Intro & Disassembly 3:45 The Battery 4:43 Finding a Replacement 8:00 Battery Polarity 9:34 Swapping Connector Polarity 13:49 Testing 16:08 Conclusion
