Installing Midland MXT275: Jeep Wrangler JLU Overland GMRS Coms for Overland Trips

Despite the bitter cold, we decided to upgrade my wife's new Jeep Wrangler JLU with a Midland MXT275 GMRS Radio. Communication is crucial when exploring off-grid and on overland adventures, and our trusty Midland USA GMRS radios have never let us down. We fired up the Camco Big Red Campfire in the garage to take the edge off the chill and got to work. One of our favorite antennas for these installs is the 3dB gain Ghost Antenna. It's small and sturdy, able to withstand branches on tight trails, while also being out of the way for clearance. The reception range is impressive, with radio chatter picked up sometimes from 10 or more miles away! Follow along as I show you how we made the installation seamless and efficient.
