Bowhunting the Oldest Billy Goat in Spain’s Gredos Mountains

Remi Warren joins fellow YETI Ambassador Pedro Ampuero on a mission for Remi’s first Ibex on the north face of the Gredos Mountains (Sierra de Gredos) of central Spain. The conditions are stacked against them: it’s May, which is the worst time of year, as the goats don’t move as much and are as high as they can be. It’s the last week of the hunting season, and right now the billies are together in bachelor groups. But for Pedro the experience of helping a friend harvest his first Ibex, with their shared value for the animals makes this hunt especially memorable.
