The Women's 100m Just Got CRAZIER! Sha'Carri vs Melissa Jefferson Wooden!

Two of the fastest women on the planet train side by side every day, with the same coach on the same track, and this weekend they turn into each other's biggest rivals. On July 4th at the 2026 Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon, Sha'Carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson-Wooden line up in the women's 100m for one of the biggest sprint showdowns of the season. It's the last two world champions in the same race: Melissa, the reigning 2025 world champ who ran a blazing 10.61, versus Sha'Carri, the 2023 champion who just clocked 10.77, her fastest time in nearly two years.
