I went to my local recycling center with $100 and a dream to see what kind of hardware I could rescue from the e-waste pile and the haul did not disappoint. In Part 1 of this series, we’re clearing off the workbench and going through the entire score to see exactly what $100 gets you. We managed to walk away with three full PC towers, a handful of motherboards, and several graphics cards. The ultimate goal? To see if we can piece together some solid budget gaming rigs out of what people threw away.
