Airfix F4F-4 Wildcat 1/72 Full Build- WW2 Plastic Model Airplane

Let's build the newly tooled Airfix 1/72 F4F Wildcat as depicted during the Guadalcanal campaign. I want to build it as it would have appeared after just arriving to Henderson field. This plane was flown by World War 2 fighter ace Major General Marion Eugene Carl. I will go through the entire build start to finish, and point out things of interest as I go. For a more in depth analysis, I created a vlog series as I built this here:    • 1/72 Airfix Wildcat Bench Vlog Update 1   I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I did making it!
