Cupra Performance Trackdays 2026

From June 10th to 13th, 2026, the CUPRA Performance Days took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Germany. Following its debut in 2022, the event, now in its fifth year, represents a new milestone in terms of its international reach: Around 80 guests were expected each day at the four-day event, including media representatives from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Even Sven Schuwirth, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at SEAT S.A., didn't want to miss the event at the Red Bull Ring and participated in the program, further underscoring the growing importance of the CUPRA Performance Days as an established driving and experience format. Approximately 80 guests were expected each day at the four-day event, including media representatives from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Czech Republic. “The CUPRA Performance Days have become one of our most important experiential platforms. By bringing together international media, dealers, and customers at the Red Bull Ring, we can present the full spectrum of CUPRA performance – from high-performance combustion engine models to our next generation of electric vehicles – in an authentic and emotionally engaging environment. With its combination of elevation changes, fast straights, and technically demanding corners, the Red Bull Ring is one of the most telling racetracks for evaluating driving performance and handling,” says Timo Sommerauer, Head of SEAT & CUPRA in Austria. A wide range of models will be available. A total of around 40 vehicles will be available for test drives, track days, and driver safety training. The model range includes the CUPRA Formentor (including the new Formentor VZ5), Leon and Leon Sportstourer, Born, Tavascan, Terramar, and the new, all-electric CUPRA Raval. The vehicles are available in various configurations – from entry-level models to VZ and VZ EXTREME versions, as well as Black Editions and Tribe Editions. Special attention is given to the new CUPRA Raval, which celebrated its world premiere on April 9, 2026, in Vienna and numerous other European cities. As the ultimate expression of CUPRA's sporty DNA, the CUPRA Raval features a lowered chassis, optimized suspension, and progressive steering, redefining the driving experience and dynamic handling of a compact urban electric vehicle. Furthermore, the new CUPRA Formentor VZ5 provides dynamic accompaniment with an extraordinary soundtrack. The distinctive 287 kW (390 hp) five-cylinder engine with 480 Nm of torque, the agility provided by torque splitter, and the sculptural design of the first standalone CUPRA model embody the brand's rebellious spirit and technical expertise. To do justice to the motorsport aspect of the event, selected guests will have the opportunity to take a ride in the CUPRA Leon VZ TCR, driven by Austrian racing driver Patrick Friesacher. The CUPRA Leon VZ TCR is the latest iteration of CUPRA Racing's successful customer racing car and has been specifically developed for even greater performance and competitiveness. Key improvements include enhanced aerodynamics, a revised front axle, chassis and transmission upgrades, and a new cockpit with a modern racing steering wheel and a 7-inch display. CUPRA x ABT ABT Sportsline will be supporting CUPRA's motorsport presence. In this context, they will be presenting their latest collaborative project, "CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT." This project comprises aesthetically pleasing aero design packages inspired by the CUPRA Halo models (Formentor VZ5, Leon VZ TCR) and developed in partnership with ABT. The packages are installed at the CUPRA Racing Factory and can therefore be ordered directly from the CUPRA configurator without any additional steps. The packages are available for the Leon, Leon Estate, and Formentor models. Another key component of the program is the Driving Center, which focuses on demanding driving maneuvers and developing vehicle control skills. Exercises include driving on a skid pad, wet handling tracks, and other safety-relevant scenarios that challenge both driving skills and the technical performance of the vehicles. With its combination of track driving, driving on public roads, and driver training, the CUPRA Performance Days 2026 once again offer a comprehensive platform to experience CUPRA vehicles in a professional and safe environment, while simultaneously fostering exchange between international media, dealers, and the brand.
