MANEUVER (Vocal Demo) - Electric Light Orchestra Inspired Futuristic Anthem of Power Pop Fun

In 2015, I wrote a set of songs imagining what my teenage life might have been five hundred years in the future. "Maneuver" was born from a funny incident between a friend and I having a dish of ice cream and they tried to scoop mine. I instantly blocked with my spoon and said, "When it comes to ice cream, I'm a spoon ninja," and started doing little Jedi moves. We laughed and the idea of this fun song took root. The musical texture and structure takes cues from the Electric Light Orchestra.
