Swan Lake (mini-suite), Pyotr Tchaikovsky

Professor P plays the arrangement for accordion orchestra or quintet, by Paul De Bra, of a mini-suite consisting of three abridged pieces from the ballet Swan Lake by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The arrangement is written for accordion orchestra (4 accordion parts, bass accordion, timpani, triangle) but can be played with just a quintet (no percussion) and that is what this recording is. The mini-suite contains the Scene Moderato (Act. 2, nr. 10, Danses des Cygnes, nr. 4, and Act. 1, nr. 2: ) Valse. The recording might make this work sound less difficult than it actually is... especially for a quintet. (In an orchestra using "diviso" can make it more feasible.)
