“The myth that early elections are called without a State Budget is outdated,” assures the PCP leader, stating that he does not fear early elections should the 2027 State Budget be rejected in Parliament. In an interview with the RTP Antena 1 podcast "Política com Assinatura," the PCP Secretary-General guarantees that the party's vote is not yet decided. Even so, Paulo Raimundo affirms that "if early elections exist to interrupt this disastrous path from a political point of view, then they may even be welcome. If it's just a waiting game to worsen this disastrous path, then things are already bad enough."
