God Is With You in Fear, Sadness, and Loneliness

“I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20 Fear, sadness, and loneliness can touch every human heart. Sometimes we may be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone. Sometimes fear paralyses us. Sometimes sadness whispers that nothing will change. Sometimes loneliness makes us believe that no one understands. But Christ speaks a different word. He does not promise us a life without suffering. He promises something greater: His presence. In this Catholic reflection, Fr.
