1989 Aston Martin V8 Vantage ‘X-pack’ - Nicholas Mee & Company, Aston Martin Specialists
Finished in Salisbury Blue with Magnolia hide interior and equipped with 5 speed manual transmission. Brutish and yet elegant, this late model V8 Vantage ‘X-pack’, was ordered and delivered new via Nicholas Mee, to its first long-term enthusiast owner in August 1989, one month before V8 and V8 Vantage production ended permanently. This rare Vantage is one of only 82 UK specification ‘X-pack’ Vantage Coupe’s built, equipped from new with the desirable 5 speed manual gearbox and finished in Salisbury Blue. The V8 Vantage model, a legend of its day, is a potent cocktail of British engineering and craftsmanship, which has become coveted and collected by enthusiasts globally, no doubt for its dynamic performance, it’s consummate ground covering ability and air-conditioned comfort. Developed over a 12-year production period, the late ‘X-pack’ Vantage was available only for the last 3 years of Vantage production, 1986-89. This superb ‘X-pack’ Vantage, now delivering 450 bhp, drives superbly with exceptional engine performance and road holding. Enjoyed and driven by the last and only 5th owner, on two European tours and on occasional weekend trips, the total mileage covered is now 57,000 miles.
