Bornos is located in Spain’s southern Andalucia, around a 2.5-hour drive from the Costa del Sol's Malaga and a 45-minute drive from Cadiz. The town is one of Spain's "Pueblos Blancos, " or white villages. These are a series of picturesque towns nestled in the Andalusian hills in southern Spain, known for their distinctive white-washed buildings. This traditional architectural style, whose origins date back to the region's Moorish past, helps to reflect the sun's rays. This keeps the buildings cool during the hot summers and adds a unique character to these towns.
