Behind The Scenes At The Royal Marines School Of Music: The Last Post
Have you ever wondered how much preparation goes into playing the Last Post at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Service? The RNRMC has gone behind the scenes at the Royal Marines School of Music and found out that the Royal Marines Bugler has two years of training prior to Passing Out. They may be called upon to play at events, funerals or even at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. Sgt Bugler Kerry Silk is preparing to play the Last Post on Sunday and talked to us about what that feels like and why she volunteered for the second year in a row.
