Tearing Down the Unitree Go2: A Robotics Expert's Deep Dive

What if you could own a Boston Dynamics-style robot dog for a fraction of the price? The Unitree Go2 is an advanced, agile, and relatively affordable robotic dog designed for research, education, and even practical applications like surveillance, exploration, and assistance. It’s a $2,000 robotic dog with some pretty nifty tricks up its sleeve. It’s not in the same class as the larger industrial robots like Boston Dynamics’ SPOT. To find out what makes Unitree Go 2 tick, we brought robotics expert Marcel Stieber to help us out!
