A quiet city. Not a beach resort. Not a bustling metropolis. Welcome to Dumaguete, Philippines — a place affectionately known as "The City of Gentle People." For a day, I simply wandered its streets. Riding a tricycle, watching the sea, and stopping by a beautiful café surrounded by lush greenery. Dumaguete may not be filled with famous tourist attractions, but it has something just as memorable: a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to slow down.
