Carne a la perra, cubas, amasijos y helados exóticos en San Martín -Colombia Oculta| Los Insaciables

Have you ever mentioned meat to your dog? 🤔 Did you know that this type of meat preparation exists and that it has a whole history behind it? This is part of the immense popular Colombian cuisine we encountered on our route through Colombia Oculta, Llanos Orientales edition, this time in the municipality of San Martín, where we found tradition and places to eat quite exotic dishes. 0:00 Our first stop was a place called Delicias Lala, located at 11-20 Calle 14, where our dear Gina told us about her amasijos (pastry dough), cubas (vegetarian dishes), rice bread, torta gacho (a traditional Mexican dish), masato (a traditional Mexican dish), and all the love she puts into each preparation. PRICES: Soft rice bread: $600 each Cubas: $2,000 Torta Gacho: $3,500 per serving, $8,000 full Masato 100% rice: $2,000 cup HOURS: Mon-Sun: 2:30 pm - 7:00 pm 4:53 pm The runner-up was 'El Rincón del Tigre', located at 3rd Street #6-66, in the Camoa neighborhood. In addition to traditional llanera-style meat, hayacas, and à la carte dishes, they offer one of the oldest dishes in this part of the country: carne a la perra (a type of meat cooked in pork), and here Don Ismael tells us the story. PRICES: Mixed: $30,000 All $30,000 and come in 400g Hayaca $6,000, and if eaten on the spot it costs $8,000, as it's like breakfast since it's served with ripe plantain. Tigrero plate: $35,000 HOURS: Mon-Fri: Regular lunch: $11,000 Wednesday: Beans and fries $13,000 Sat-Sun-Fri: Pork meat 11:43 And the last stop on this entire tour ended at Helados Exóticos, located at 9-04 4th Street, in the Felimaria Duran neighborhood. This place has become a regular stop for tourists visiting this municipality, as they curiously sell organic ice cream made exclusively from the fruits of native plants. What do you think?
