Built in the former riverbed of the Turia River, this green corridor stretches through the heart of València, connecting modern landmarks, historic bridges, gardens, and recreational spaces. This walk follows the Turia Gardens from the area near the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències all the way to the historic Torres de Serranos, showcasing the park's diverse landscapes and unique character. Highlights of this walk: Jardín del Turia – We walk entirely through the Turia Gardens, passing tree-lined pathways, landscaped gardens, fountains, sports areas, playgrounds, and several of the historic bridges that once crossed the Turia River. Jardines de Monforte – Along the route, there is a stop at this elegant 19th-century neoclassical garden known for its sculptures, ornamental hedges, fountains, and peaceful atmosphere. Historic Bridges of València – The walk passes beneath several historic bridges that connect different parts of the city and provide a reminder of the former river that once flowed through this area. Northern Turia Gardens – As the route approaches the historic center, the scenery transitions from open recreational spaces to mature trees, shaded avenues, and views of València's medieval skyline. Torres de Serranos – The walk finishes at one of València's most famous landmarks. These impressive 14th-century Gothic towers were once part of the city's defensive walls and now stand at the northern entrance to the historic center.
