美輪明宏さん老衰のため死去　最後の言葉は「ありがとう」

Singer and actor Akihiro Miwa passed away on June 20th due to old age, his agency announced on the 28th. He was 91 years old. Miwa, originally from Nagasaki Prefecture, gained popularity performing at the chanson café "Ginza Paris" in Tokyo's Ginza district. His self-composed song "Yoitomake no Uta," which sings of the sorrows of manual laborers and unconditional love, became a huge hit. He also starred in Yukio Mishima's play "Black Lizard," receiving high praise for his alluring and aesthetically pleasing portrayal. According to his agency, Miwa's last words were simply "Thank you," expressing his gratitude.
