Regional Perspectives on Relations with China: Security, Infrastructure, Governance, Values
China's rise on the world stage has prompted novel and complex challenges for policymakers across the Asia-Pacific to address. The Transpacific and Asian Dialogue on China (https://global.upenn.edu/future-of-us...) aims to contribute to those deliberations by offering policy recommendations from twenty-two leading next generation scholars and experts on China selected from throughout the region. As the group meets in Singapore this week, hosted by the East Asian Institute, join us to hear reflections from five members of the group speaking to core debates in the region's complex and evolving policy context. Presenters: Pongphisoot Busbarat (Chulalongkorn University), Madoka Fukuda (Hosei University), Selina Ho (National University of Singapore), Khoo Ying Hooi (Universiti Malaya), and Jason Young (Victoria University of Wellington). Moderated by Neysun Mahboubi (University of Pennsylvania). Welcome remarks by Alfred Schipke (EAI, National University of Singapore). Live produced by Mackenzie Miller.
