PFLA Webinar - A look at Bokashi through 3 UK case studies
Join the Pasture-Fed Livestock Association and Agriton for the second of two webinars on bokashi. This time we focus closer to home with a practical look at the why and how our three case study farms in the UK are using bokashi. We will hear from Andy and Nicola Morris, Pasture for Life certified beef farmers in Worcestershire, Jamie Buttler who farmers alongside his brother at the mixed Whitewool Farm in Hampshire, and Malachy Hughes who farms sheep in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. The session will be introduced and chaired by Andrew Sincock of Agriton, who works with each of the farms. Andrew grew up on his grandparents mixed dairy, beef and arable farm in Cornwall. Despite his best efforts he couldn’t escape the lure of agriculture and has worked in a variety of roles from tractor driver to herdsman to farm manager to agribusiness owner. His practical hands on experience and technical understanding has made Bokashi a genuine, cost effective option for UK farmers. Since joining Agriton, Andrew has been involved in more Bokahsi heaps than anyone in the UK that we are aware of!
