The Kanaloa Octopus Farm in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, is known as a one of a kind octopus farm. Octopus or Cephalopods that live in our oceans, are the eight legged, non-vertabrea, creatures that shape shift and change color. Little is known about the Day Octopus and what they eat within the first month of their lives. The Kanaloa Octopus Farm, Aquaculture facility, on the big Island of Hawaii, is trying to study these creatures to figure out just how best to nurture these beautiful animals, in captivity.
