Christian and Syed (Chryed) fan appeal for Stonewall

http://www.justgiving.com/katrinak/ Calling all Chryedians! We need your help. We have spent years watching Christian and Syed's story, watching Syed struggle against homophobia in his community. Sometimes he felt like he was losing, but he made it in the end, and is now a strong, happy, successful, openly gay man. But it has opened our eyes to the fact that strong homophobia really does exist. It diminishes happiness and destroys lives, and prevents people from being themselves... people just like Syed.Christian, too has suffered from homophobia at the hands of others; being beaten up by a stranger simply for being gay. Incidents like this are rare, but they shouldn't happen at all. We're calling on you today to help us make a difference to the lives of people who are affected by homophobia in their everyday lives. Stonewall is an organisation which combats homophobia, teaches people to be accepting, strives for equality, and aims to give people hope when they feel they have none left. We are making a group donation to Stonewall on behalf of all Chryedians on the internet; giving something back to the world in response to what the Chryed storyline has given us.
