Review Aspen avionics Pro Max 2000 Beechcraft Baron
In this video I want to show you and review the Aspen 2000 setup avionics display so in my 1973 Beechcraft Baron. Tthe Aspen 2000 setup avionics Consists of Aspen EFD 1000 Max Pro and MDF Max Pro PROS: modular installation, affordable, simple incremental upgrade for integrated glass panel, compatible with many certified aircraft including Beech, Piper, Cessna. Aspen 2000 allows removal of vacuum system because MFD is a full backup of the PFD. CONS: dependency on electricity, battery upon failure, draw amps from alternators, changing PF instruments, over whelming for someone not familiar with glass panels or fancy electronics, some complaints of the RED X of death when AHRS or GPS signal is degraded. Competitors include Garmin G5, Garmin 275 My situation, already in the Aspen environment with Aspen EFD 1000 installed, aging steam gauge altimeter and VSI.
