Introduction to Commercial & Multifamily Energy Audits

This webinar will provide an overview of the concept and process of energy audits as defined in ASHRAE Standard 211-2018 Energy Audits for Commercial Buildings. The course will include hands-on exercises for the participants and include examples from a variety of energy audit projects. Upon completion, the participants will understand the process of how to conduct commercial energy audits and have some hands-on experience with various spreadsheet calculations. ocus will be on the workflow and best practices of level 1 and level 2 energy audits: preliminary energy use analysis; historical utility data review; facility survey and identification of low- and no-cost energy efficiency measures; comprehensive energy use breakdown; calculating energy cost savings; estimating energy efficiency measures cost; performance of an economic analysis with simple payback calculations.
