TRABAJAR en Francia | 6 trabajos diferentes al migrar
WE'RE BACK! With these videos where I share a bit of my experience as a Colombian migrating to Europe, this time to France, and the unskilled jobs I did there. I'll tell you about the 6 different types of jobs and their activities so you have some clarity if you're planning your trip with a VVT (Visa for Temporary Stay) or student visa, and so it can give you an idea of your aspirations and budget. Keep in mind that I'm sharing my experience, but everyone will have their own, so I hope all the jobs you choose pay €14 per hour, hahaha, or at least one, because that balances things out a lot (that was my case; I almost always had two or three jobs to fill my daily and monthly schedule). Here are some details: Cleaning Agent: €10.30 per hour. I worked between 10 and 20 hours a week. I earned a maximum of €500 per month. Nanny: €12 to €14 per hour. I worked between 10 and 20 hours per week. I earned between €600 and €1,000 per month (This depended heavily on the number of families I worked with each week, the contract terms, and whether or not I did babysitting). Housekeeper: €10 per hour. I worked between 5 and 8 hours maximum per week. I earned around €200 per month. Housekeeper: €10 per hour. I worked 20 hours per week. I earned around €800 per month (This also depended heavily on the contract and the agreement reached, such as whether or not overtime was involved). Life Assistant: €12.50 per hour. This job was always weekly, so I worked 6 hours per week and earned around €300. Pet Sitting: €12 per hour. Remember that I only did about 4 hours of this job and I wasn't paid, but if I had been paid, it would have been €50. If this becomes a regular job, you can do the math. The most common rate in this case is €10.
