Grading EVERY 2026 NBA Draft Pick in Summer League

The 2026 NBA Summer League gave us breakout stars, unexpected draft steals, disappointing starts, and an early look at all 60 players selected in the 2026 NBA Draft. In this video, I grade every 2026 NBA rookie’s Summer League performance, focusing mainly on the action in Las Vegas while also considering what we saw during the California Classic and Salt Lake City Summer League. AJ Dybantsa showed why the Washington Wizards selected him first overall, while Caleb Wilson, Cameron Boozer, Brayden Burries, Yaxel Lendeborg, Hannes Steinbach, Morez Johnson Jr., and Allen Graves all looked capable of making an immediate NBA impact. We also have to talk about the second-round steals. Meleek Thomas emerged as one of the best scorers in Las Vegas for the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Bruce Thornton, Trevon Brazile, Ryan Conwell, Baba Miller, Emanuel Sharp, and Tyler Nickel may have already outplayed their draft positions. Not every rookie had a successful summer. Keaton Wagler, Dailyn Swain, Christian Anderson, Joshua Jefferson, Isaiah Evans, Braden Smith, and Tyler Bilodeau each struggled in different areas and may need more development before earning consistent NBA minutes. Summer League will never determine a player’s entire career, but it can reveal which skills are ready to translate, which rookies fit their new teams, and which players still have major questions to answer.
