CM Revanth Reddy Inaugurates Amazon’s Mega Data Center at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad

Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for the prestigious Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center being developed at Bharat Future City. The data center, coming up on 202 acres with an investment of nearly ₹60,000 crore, is set to become the largest technology project in India. Amazon has set a target of completing the first phase of the project within 24 months. The data center will support services in cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), digital banking, e-commerce, and healthcare. The proposal for establishing the data center was first discussed between the Chief Minister and Amazon representatives during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2025. Subsequently, the State Government and Amazon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Telangana Rising Global Summit held in Hyderabad. As part of the government's focus on strengthening infrastructure in the peri-urban region, 202 acres of land were allotted at Bharat Future City and an additional 98 acres at Chandanvelly for the Amazon Data Center project. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Vakiti Srihari; Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju; Advisor K. Ramakrishna Rao; senior government officials; and representatives from Amazon. భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో అమెజాన్ వెబ్ సర్వీసెస్ ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్మిస్తున్న డేటా సెంటర్‌కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. 202 ఎకరాల్లో దాదాపు రూ. 60 వేల కోట్లతో నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ డేటా సెంటర్ దేశంలోనే అతిపెద్ద టెక్నాలజీ ప్రాజెక్టుగా రూపుదిద్దుకోనుంది. మొదటి దశ ప్రాజెక్టును 24 నెలల కాలంలో పూర్తి చేయాలని అమెజాన్ లక్ష్యంగా నిర్ధేశించింది. క్లౌడ్, ఏఐ సాంకేతిక వినియోజం, డిజిటల్ బ్యాంకింగ్, ఈ-కామర్స్, హెల్త్ కేర్ రంగాల్లో ఈ డేటా సెంటర్ పనిచేస్తుంది. 2025 జనవరిలో దావోస్‌లో జరిగిన వరల్డ్ ఎకనమిక్ ఫోరం సదస్సు సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు డేటా సెంటర్ ఏర్పాటుపై అమెజాన్ తో చర్చలు జరిపారు. అనంతరం హైదరాబాద్‌లో నిర్వహించిన తెలంగాణ రైజింగ్ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్‌లో ఆ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. పెరి అర్బన్ రీజియన్‌లో మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పనకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించిన నేపథ్యంలో ప్రభుత్వం అమెజాన్ డేటా సెంటర్ కోసం భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో 202 ఎకరాలు, చందన్‌వల్లిలో 98 ఎకరాల స్థలం కేటాయించింది. ఈ ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రులు దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారు, జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు, వాకిటి శ్రీహరి గారు, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి సంజయ్ జాజు గారు, సలహాదారు కె. రామకృష్ణా రావు గారితో పాటు ఉన్నతాధికారులు, అమెజాన్ ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు. #RevanthReddy #Amazon #AmazonDataCenter #BharatFutureCity #DataCenter #AWS #Hyderabad #AI #CloudComputing #DigitalInfrastructure #TelanganaRising #PURE #AmazonAWS #Telangana
