Josh and Jenny's Story Waiting for a donor can be hard and staying hopeful that the call will come in to say a donor has been found, can be really tough. There are two sides to this situation and having conversations with our families about our organ donation wishes can be so important. Josh Chapman had registered to give his organ's upon him passing so his family knew what to do when he tragically died in 2019, aged just 24 years old. Jenny Gillies who is deaf and partially blind is awaiting a second kidney transplant and has gone through the heartache of cancelled operations - which can be down to many reasons including families not knowing their loved ones wishes.
