The Siege of Dubrovnik 1991 / The View

In 1991. Serbian and Montenegrin forces commenced operations in the Dubrovnik area. On October 1st, they attacked the Dubrovnik municipality from several directions. On Oct.4th, they broke through to the small town of Slano, blocking Dubrovnik from the rest of the world. The siege will be held for 7 months. A few years ago, I found a photo showing Serbian Montenegrin soldiers above Dubrovnik. So, I started looking for that position... First, I encountered Hermann's tortoise... In the battlements, I found a camouflage net, then some cartridges for AK 47, but also for the Yugoslav sniper rifle M76, and the Zastava M84 machine gun...then I run into a legless lizard...rain started, so i had to withdraw from that position...
