Campervan Motorhome Underslung Refillable LPG Gas Tank Installation

This video covers the installation of a 25 litre underslung LPG tank to a Mercedes Sprinter based minibus motorhome conversion (See links below for items used). I have great access to the chassis having removed the flooring so now is the best time to install the underslung LPG tank along with the LPG refill system. The same process can be used from under a van to mount an underslung lpg tank. I only cover the tank installation as I cannot complete the copper gas pipework until I have a final layout and lay the new flooring so that will be covered in another video. The underslung LPG tanks are available from a few different retailers, some of whom offer fitting services too, I have provided links to some tanks and the fitting kit I have used below. Using an underslung LPG refillable system means the gas can be purchased at petrol stations, saving over 1/2 the price of running on conventional bottled gas so the cost of the tank will be recouped over time from the gas savings.
