Sloane Elementary School Tackles Poverty

Sloane Public School, a small K-5 school, decided to do a school-wide equity inquiry project on the topic of poverty and homelessness. The project, entitled the What if... ? Poverty Project, created awareness, developed intellectual and emotional understanding and sparked the students, staff, parents and community into action, resulting in mind shifts and positive changes.
