The highlight is, of course, at the aparthotel, where they're already starting to prepare the floor of the first floor, or in other words, they're starting to prepare for the closure of the ground floor. There's still work to be done because they haven't even finished closing the basement, as you can see in the video, but I think this can be resolved for the next visit, in two weeks. They've placed the first forms above the first, already concreted pillars on the ground floor. If you recall, two weeks ago there were only six rebars on the ground floor, and today there are quite a few pillars, and they're still preparing new rebars and new concreting. The great advantage is that, even from Isla Sicilia Street, I'll soon be able to comfortably film from the dirt parking lot in the area. So we'll soon see how they rise to the first floor and how they grow by floor every three weeks or so. As for the student residence, it seems there are very few pieces of cladding left to be installed, and it's true that from the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, it feels like the building is almost finished (from the outside). That's the feeling I had when I got out of the elevator on the 11th floor, and it's the first time I've had it in all this time. Then there's the interior work, which we obviously don't know about, but I'm sure the entire building will be ready by March. As for the hospital, the blue is getting brighter in the courtyard facing the south, and I still think there are two shades of blue. It's not a huge deal, but I find it interesting. In some areas it looks dark blue, while in others it's a bit lighter. Furthermore, everything on the west facade is very advanced, and I'm sure we'll soon start to see that striking blue color. On the north facade, they've already installed the first pieces of cladding, and they'll continue to work toward the east. By the way, they've started putting up scaffolding on that facade (scaffolding doesn't exist as a verb, something I'm learning today), and I'm sure we'll soon see the first supports for installing the cladding. So, this project will be completed in the projected 11 months if nothing unusual happens, because the pace is very good. I still have doubts about not working on the south facade of the hospital, but I have to assume they don't think it's necessary. Work was already done on that facade a few years ago, and they think it's fine as it is. Happy Friday!
