Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Grant Program

Learn program requirements, ways to qualify, how to apply for the City of Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Grant Program. It is designed to assist local businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and will provide technical assistance and capital for entrepreneurs, startup businesses, and small businesses that are income-qualified or located within qualifying census tracts of the City of Bakersfield. Qualifying clients may be eligible for grants of $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, or $40,000. Grant funding may be used for payroll and benefits, utilities, mortgage or rent payments, license or permit fees, expansion costs, operating expenses, and more.
