Jute manufacturing process a long-staple spinning process. We visited Gem Jute Limited situated at Boda Upazila of Panchagarh District to observe the manufacturing Process of Jute Yarn & Sacking bag. It's a sister concern of Gemcon Group. Gemcon is one of the leading Group of Companies in Bangladesh Naturally, jute is a long, soft, shiny vegetable fiber that can be spun into coarse strong threads. There many kinds of useful products made by jute yarn. Due to its worldwide demand, different countries manufacture jute goods. Jute goods are produced by a line of sequence. Its manufacturing process is completely different from cotton. By the following way jute goods are produced: The sequence flow of jute spinning is followed by a selection of Batch, Piecing up, Jute softening & Lubricating, Piling or conditioning, Breaker, carding, Finisher carding, 1st Drawing, 2nd Drawing, 3rd Drawing, Spinning & Winding. The manufacturing process of sacking bag is followed by - Beaming or Dressing, Weaving, Damping, Cleaning, Calendaring, Rolling, Cutting, Sewing, Bundling, Branding, Bale press, Sacking bag ready for export in bale form.
