Some experiments with transistors, biasing, and the components of the original Knife OD&Fuzz circuit led us to new and great-sounding solutions. 🔸 Warmth: Germanium added roundness and velvety texture to the attack. 🔸 Lows: Became tight and compressed, without flabbiness. 🔸 Highs: Bright but smooth, without harshness. 🔸 Mids: Received a pleasant accent that helps cut through the mix. 🔸 Drive: Clipping is now softer, yet with more compression.
