Dr.Thomas Vazhacharickal is a Catholic priest belonging to the Eparchy of Palai, Kerala, India. He obtained his bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Education. After teaching in schools for a few years he opted for full time parish ministry, in the course of which he encountered cases of demonic afflictions and satanic possession. These incidents were ‘eye-openers’, which fueled an interest in exorcism. A renewal ministry focused on deliverance developed. Within years, he was actively preaching retreats at retreat centres and parishes in Kerala. He completed his doctoral studies in Spiritual Theology at St. Peter’s Pontifical Institute, Bengaluru, in 2015, with, as yet, unbeaten scores. Presently, he is appointed as Director, Abba Bhavanam, Mount Nebo Eparchial Retreat Centre, Vagamon, Kerala, and serves as a visiting professor at St. Peter’s.
