In this video, I test the new Air Europa ON product in Economy Class, flying aboard their Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Madrid (MAD) – New York (JFK) route. I show you the complete experience of the airline's newly launched service: the new Economy catering, the crew service, the 787 cabin, the in-flight entertainment, and the overall experience on one of the most competitive North Atlantic routes. We also took advantage of the MAD-JFK flight to tell the complete story of Air Europa, founded in 1986, which in 1988 became the first Spanish airline to cross the Atlantic with a twin-engine aircraft thanks to the ETOPS certification obtained with the Boeing 757-200. Air Europa is part of the Globalia group, a member of SkyTeam since 2007, and we analyzed its current strategic position: more than 12 million passengers a year, €2.9 billion in revenue, a fleet of nearly 50 aircraft, and Madrid consolidated as one of the major connecting hubs between Europe and the Americas.
