Sri Lanka Travel By Train Colombo To Puttalam Journey 2022. I am traveling in Sri Lanka by train, in this video, A Railway journey from Colombo fort Railway station to Puttalam. Sri Lanka Railway has first, This is the main railway station situated in the heart of Colombo. It was built in 1908. At present, the station consists of 10 platforms and over 200000 passengers travel daily. Sri Lanka Railway operates 67 Long-Distance and 16 Intercity trains and carries about 3.72 Million passengers daily. SLR owns and maintains 1561km of rail tracks, At present, it has a workforce of 17,634. Colombo to Puttalam is 133 Km. My journey is on the west part of Sri Lanka.
