Polihali Dam Transformation in 2026 | Massive Progress in Lesotho 🇱🇸 (English Subtitles)

This is a full progress update of the Polihali Dam project in Mokhotlong 🇱🇸 — one of Africa’s biggest water infrastructure projects under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project. I first documented this site back in 2019 before construction began. Fast forward to today — more work has been completed than what’s left. In this video, I take you through: Main Quarry site Crusher Plant site Main Dam Wall construction Saddle Dam site Access routes and infrastructure development This update was taken on the 22nd April 2026, on the official opening of the Senqu Bridge, attended by Cyril Ramaphosa, the Kingdom of Lesotho leadership, and government officials — marking a major milestone in regional infrastructure cooperation. This dam will play a critical role in supplying water to South Africa, strengthening economic ties and water security in the region. If you’re interested in mega construction, civil engineering, or African infrastructure — this is a project you should be watching. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music: Meanwhile by Scott Buckley https://www.scottbuckley.com.au/ Also check out:    • Polihali Dam Project (2019 Before Construc...      • Driving Through the Senqu River Bridge Con...      • Heavy Snowfall at Polihali Dam: A Rare Spr...      • Surprising September Snow in Mokhotlong: J...   #PolihaliDam #LHWP #LHDA #TCTA #Lesotho #SouthAfrica #TransCaledonTunnelAuthority #DepartmentOfWaterAndSanitation #WaterSecurity #MegaProjects #DamConstruction #Infrastructure #SenquBridge #CyrilRamaphosa #Mokhotlong #AfricaDevelopment
