Safety Razor - Merkur 34c - Gillette Nacet Blade - Feather Blade

I'm using a nacet blade in a merkur 34c safety razor. Using a nacet DE blade I encounter a epic fail. I could not believe that the gillette nacet blade could not cut through four days of growth on my face. I had to replace it with a feather blade just to get a BBS, glass like shave.
