Today I'm making solyanka in a cauldron—the very taste that brings everyone together at the table! 🔥 In the video, I show the entire process: I heat the cauldron, fry the onions, then add the meat base and salty ingredients to create a rich, solyanka-like flavor. The final touch is lemon and lots of olives. It's thick, filling, and delicious! For the most intense solyanka flavor, it's best to choose a set that includes *3 layers of flavor**: broth/meat base, **sour-salty* accents, and *tomato* (as well as aromatic spices). *Optimal Ingredients:* *Meat Base (mix, the more "types" the tastier):* Beef/Veal + *smoked meats* (smoked sausage, smoked ribs, or brisket) + *sausages/ham* (optional) *Broth:* Meat-based (or a strong broth version with smoked meats) *Salty Accents (required):* *pickles* (acid base), a little *cucumber brine* *Tomato Base:* *tomato paste* (2-3 tbsp) + adjika *Onions and Carrots:* Onions are a must, carrots to taste (for sweetness and depth) olives (for softness) *Additional "smoky" touch:* A little smoked paprika or dry-fried smoked meat pieces (optional) *Dressing/Flavoring:* Bay leaf, black peppercorns, herbs (dill/parsley) *Serving:* Sour cream + *lemon* (the acidity on top is a finishing touch) *How ​​to achieve the "perfect richness":* 1) First, make a *fry* with tomato paste (sauté the paste for 1-2 minutes). 2) Then add the **meat/smoked meat**. 3) Finally, add the *cucumbers/brine* and olives to ensure the flavor is vibrant and doesn't fade.
