Me:"Why Sumo Wrestlers Get Fat” | Corporate Slave Weekend Vlog

March 17 — Diary The Digital Human Lately, nothing really strikes me anymore. It feels like my sensitivity is fading with time. I sometimes wonder if this is, in a way, the result of my mind becoming digitized through language-based thinking. Language is digital. It can take emotions, which are originally analog, and discretize them, quantize them, compress them, store them, and make them easy to retrieve. That is what makes digital things so convenient. Compressed data is easy to save, and easy to pull back out. As a child, I relied on language because this digital tool was useful. But somewhere along the way, my thoughts became ruled by language, and I began to lose the analog quality of emotion. I became able to perceive my feelings only through language. And before I knew it, the colors of those feelings began to fade, until every emotion started to look the same. Even sadness—lately, every shade of it looks identical to me. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ 🗺️ Spots Map (all places in my videos) https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi... 🎟️ Channel Membership (10K thank-you; tip-jar style)    / @japanese_sala   📝 Suggest spots for future videos (Google Form) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FA... 📍 See viewer suggestions — Map & Spreadsheet https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi...
