Today I'm bringing you a super flavorful home-cooked dish that pairs perfectly with rice - Three-Cup Tofu! This dish isn't just delicious but also incredibly simple to make, perfect for busy weeknights. In this video, I'll share how to cook tender, juicy Three-Cup Tofu using the classic three-cup ratio. Follow Chef A-Ching on Facebook:   / achingchef   Follow Chef A-Ching on Instagram:   / achingchef   📍 Cooking Measurements 📍 1 Tablespoon = 15ml = 15cc 1 Teaspoon = 5ml = 5cc 1 Rice bowl = 200cc 1 Rice cup = 150cc 🥣 Ingredients You'll Need ✍ ✅ Firm tofu - 600g ✅ Century eggs - 2 ✅ Garlic - 50g ✅ Old ginger - 30g ✅ Large chili pepper - 1 ✅ Thai basil - 15g ✅ Oil - 1 Tbsp (for frying tofu) ✅ Oil - 1/2 Tbsp ✅ Sesame oil - 1 tsp ✅ Soy sauce - 3 Tbsp ✅ Rice wine - 2 Tbsp ✅ Sugar - 3 tsp ✅ Tomato paste - 2 tsp ✅ Water - 150cc 🍳 Chef's Cooking Notes 📝 1. Cut tofu into cubes 2. Slice ginger thinly 3. Peel garlic and cut into uniform pieces 4. Cut chili pepper into sections 5. Boil century eggs and cut into quarters 6. Heat oil and fry tofu until golden 7. Remove tofu and set aside 8. Add oil to the pan and sauté ginger and garlic until aromatic 9. Once fragrant, add century eggs 10. Season with sesame oil, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar, and rice wine 11. Once the seasoning becomes aromatic, add tofu and water 12. When tofu has absorbed the color, add Thai basil and chili 13. Finish with a splash of rice wine 14. Once the Thai basil wilts, the dish is ready to serve.
