Repertoire: The BEST Brahms Violin Concerto

So many choices, with multiple versions often from the same violinist! This greatest of all romantic violin concertos has never lacked for great performances, and so I have narrowed the selection down to ten fiddlers (representing almost twice as many individual recordings taking duplication into account). These are, I think, the best choices overall, but of course there are many others that I didn't mention--so don't worry if you haven't heard all of these. If you love the work, you will eventually.
