Beinahe-Unfall + schnelle Runde auf Kartbahn Oppenrod DD2 Rotax - 49.77s

Vor etwa einem Monat habe ich einen ernsthaften Schritt im Kartsport gemacht und mir einen DD2 mit LGK S16-Chassis und Rotax-Evo-Motor zugelegt. Seitdem befinde ich mich in der Lernphase, mit nur etwa 5 bis 6 echten Trainingstagen auf der Strecke. Trotzdem nähere ich mich bereits den Referenzzeiten eines der besten DD2-Fahrer auf der Motorsportarena Stefan Bellof (Kartbahn Oppenrod) in Deutschland. Aber dieses Ergebnis kommt nicht ohne Kontext. Das Kart befindet sich noch in der Entwicklungs- und Testphase, ohne vollständige Revision und ohne perfekte Abstimmung. Außerdem fahre ich immer mit gebrauchten Reifen, was jede Verbesserung noch schwieriger und unberechenbarer macht. ⚠️ Der kritischste Moment des Videos Die Session beginnt mit einem sehr spannenden Moment: Ein Defekt an der vorderen Bremsanlage führte dazu, dass das rechte Vorderrad blockierte. Dadurch verlor das Kart die Stabilität und rutschte direkt ins Gras – nur knapp an einem schweren Unfall vorbei. Zum Glück blieb es bei einem Schreckmoment... But this result doesn’t come without context. The kart is still in a development and testing phase, without a full overhaul and not perfectly dialed in. On top of that, I always run used tires, which makes every improvement even more challenging and unpredictable. ⚠️ The most critical moment of the video The session starts with a very intense moment: A failure in the front brake pump caused the front-right wheel to lock up, making the kart lose stability and go straight into the grass — coming very close to a serious crash. Luckily, it was only a scare… Giving up is not an option!
