La Fiesta del Espíritu Santo es una celebración tradicional y cultural profundamente arraigada, que honra al Espíritu Santo, patrón de Los Congos de Villa Mella. Específicamente, la celebración en este video tiene lugar en Guanuma, un pueblo cercano a Villa Mella, y cuenta con más de 80 años de historia. Allí se celebra con Congos, Salves y Palos dominicanos. Esta festividad, una de las muchas dedicadas al Espíritu Santo, se lleva a cabo el último domingo de junio y representa un legado transmitido de generación en generación, con su epicentro en Villa Mella. Los Congos de Villa Mella son una hermandad religiosa y cultural, cuya cofradía fue proclamada por la UNESCO como obra maestra del patrimonio oral e inmaterial de la humanidad.
